The BWS-04 Scout Overshirt is a modern reinterpretation of classic workwear. Featuring a relaxed silhouette, it is versatile enough to function both as a shirt or a lightweight jacket.

The Scout pattern builds upon Benzak's Military Overshirt block, enhancing it with a slightly tailored fit for contemporary appeal.

Fabric:

Crafted from a 13oz Stay-Blue x Black Modal fabric, this material combines cotton and modal fibers for a unique texture and feel. Its robust weight makes it ideal for cooler weather, while the modal content offers a soft touch and added durability. The stay-blue indigo ensures a rich, lasting color that contrasts beautifully with the black accents.

This special fabric is created from an indigo dyed warp and a black weft made of Tencel™modal.

The warp is using the same type of indigo that we’ve used for our other stay-blue fabrics, which is known for its slow fading capabilities. Modal is developed from viscose, which is a semi-synthetic fibre made from cellulose, derived from wood.

 Tencel™ modal is a type of modal produced by Lenzing using sustainable resources. The fabric is constructed like a broken twill, which accounts for the interesting pattern and was originally invented to prevent leg twisting.

Care:

To preserve the unique properties of the selvedge fabric, wash sparingly and avoid harsh detergents. Turn the overshirt inside out before washing and air dry to prevent shrinkage.
